Recipe: Breaded pork chop (My goodness, these are good!)

Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 pork chops, bone in (Paulina Meat Market)
  • all-purpose flour
  • egg wash (beaten egg and milk)
  • bread crumbs
  • spices

Recipe

  1. Put flour in a large plastic bag.
  2. Put the pork chops in the bag to coat the chops.
  3. Take chops out and coat with egg wash (I know, I know, I thought you should do the egg wash before the flour so the flour isn't washed off. But this worked. And it's what the butcher instructed. If anyone does the egg wash before the flour and it's good, let me know!)
  4. Coat chops in bread crumbs and spice generously (oregano, basil, salt, pepper, etc.)
  5. Cover and place in oven on top rack for 35-40 min.
  6. Serve with steamed asparagus and mashed sweet potatoes.
